Thanks for the feedback! I've updated the latest version with music, sound effects, and a little bit more polish. With more time, I'd potentially clean up the sprites and animations, but for this game jam, I really pleased with what I've put together!
I liked the puzzle. Sprites, animations and colour palette are not bad, though I've seen better. I would love to hear some sounds, at least basic ones (it's quite easy since PICO-8 has a great tool for this). BUT OVERALL CAT GET/10

Excellent little game, a good few minutes of fun. I particularly enjoyed the red-herring with the axe. I wonder what is through the door at the top...
But yeah, well done, attractive visuals and a clearly thought out little project. Nice one~

This looks quite similar to a game I've been working on, although plays differently. Still love the cat. Can't figure out how not to die though!
