Hi everyone, this is my second attempt to do a game on "My first Gamejam" , I hope I can end with something nice :).

The GDD Is this (Thx to Gamedev Underground for the format): 

Game Identity / Mantra:

3D cute platformer where you try to stop your friend from killing everyone without even noticing.

Genre/Story/Mechanics Summary:

3D platformer

You make a snow friend, he’s nice, he gained life because potato and he’s cooling the city, you have to stop it.

Mechanics

  • Move
  • Jump
  • Fall*
  • Build* 
  • Slide*

*Depending on the state of the game.

Features: 

The game will be changing from time to time, every x time the world will be more frozen, that allows the player to take different paths depending of the time. The game will become easier as time passes, but the “final boss” will be harder.

When the floor gets frozen you can run faster, jump further and also slide to break obstacles.

You can also gather some snow to make a little block in order to reach higher places 

(There are other features that I will add if I manage to do the basic ones).

Interface: 

List the player input method, the controls, and how the player interacts with your game.

Art Style: 


Music/Sound: 

Maybe not music, only sounds...Maybe
