The idea was really nice and cleaver, and your level design went really well with it. I think it was a good decision to remove the limitation of needing to have all your hearts to pass the level, although trying to complete them this way offered a great challenge and even a puzzle aspect to the game that was quite enjoyable to figure out. Maybe if you update it you can give a reward if you complete them this way? Maybe unlocking a “side B” secret levels?
Also, the CRT shader make the game look gorgeous :). Congratulations!

Damn , this is good . The idea is really cool , the levels are bit hard but the character movement feels very nice. The only thing i want to say is , why does the level reset when you win ? it was a bit confusing , you could make the player go to the Level Select Menu instead of resetting it. Overall the game is awesome !
Thanks for playing the game! You need all 3 hearts to enter to the next level, if you don't have all the hearts and then enter the tunnel, the level will reset. Did you have 3 hearts?
No , i did not i just entered the tunnel with 1-2 hearts and the level was resetting but when i went to the level select menu , the next level was unlocked .
Yo this game has really good feel to play, love the came movements, the sound effect and overall fell of the game. Controls are also on point! I can see how some people will absolutely love this, but I'm the kinda person who don't care how much health I have, just gotta get to the exit, so it's a pretty smart move by you, pushing the player to think how to plan out everything, for me the tutorial itself was very hard :P managed to clear level 1 after many attempts tho! Overall a solid game!
