Genuinely in awe of how good this VN is. It's bar none the most crushing story I've ever read in an indie VN (I think only _Sweetest Monster_ and its sequel _Sweetest Monster Refrain_ could compare in any way), and it's handled with such care & psychological nuance it floors me. I just love everything about it —from the intimate presentation, the literary references, the feeling of inevitable escalation (that was, in fact, absolutely evitable).
If you can handle its themes, please do try it, I promise you won't regret it!
Twas very heart wrenching for me, I like how there wasn't any "good" endings at all but ouch does it hurt. I also just noticed now but the fact that Vince wears a black shirt to match with Blue's black uniform, while the only thing he shares with Gavin are his eyes kinda hurts me because I think that Vince already chose Blue at that moment.
I just wanted to say this was really god, had a good build up, as well as a good twist because I honestly didn't expect it all. I just want karma to come for the injustice of Gavin (because despite his mistakes, he was genuinely trying to get better and showed hope to rekindle his relationship with Vince). This might be petty but I do wish Blue just brings war to Gavin and Vince's reality (just for a bit of karma), because it's shown here that Blue has more advanced warfare technology and the planets here aren't as wary as Blue's planets.
Besides, he can just take the people and force them to replace the people he lost. I just really want some karmic retribution to be served because DAMMIT GAVIN WASN'T A GOOD PERSON BUT HE STILL TRIED! (At that logic, the first ending might be the only good ending since he at least got to die in his own terms, let Blue and Vince rot there for all I care)
This game was so cute and hilarious to play. I liked that the endings weren't cliche and were unique to each character. Looking forward to upcoming projects !! <3
