  • Thank you for participating in our jam! This was a fun little game, I enjoyed the generative gameplay and randomness. The controls were simple, very easy to learn but hard to master, which is my favorite kind. The concept was fun, tied well into the theme, and the game ran very smoothly. The visual feedback and sounds are engaging. Seeing the overall direction of the next point even if the construction site was out of view was good. I definitely noticed the randomness of the pickup sounds as well and thought that was a nice touch. I think the only thing that could have been improved in the sound department is maybe a tire squeal for hard turns, but that's more of a nitpick than anything. The art style is simple but varied enough. The biggest focus is obviously on gameplay, and with gameplay like this where focus is key most players don't look too closely at the environment anyway. The game is fun, engaging, gives appropriate player feedback, and if a player got sucked into something like Flappy Bird this would definitely appeal to them as well.

Really neat idea, and I actually like the somewhat slippery controls of the car.

Absolutely incredible that you made this without an engine by the way. The most I've been able to do are simple text based command line games.

nice game, controls felt pretty weird an I wasn't sure why I was able to drive off the road and learned the hard way that houses and grass blocks hurt lol
Got a score of 73. It's a fun randomly generated game. I like the GTA fonts too.

Check out our game, DotFight, if you get a chance!

I really like the simplicity of this one, it kept me hooked for a while. I also liked the difficulty spike, my best was 70 points!

Really solid! This reminds me of of a game I’d play growing up. Also enjoyed the sound.
