  • I think this has a lot of potential -- the concept is great, I love the minesweeping element. However, it was difficult to tell where the mines were with the detector, and it seemed to be more of a grueling guessing game. It also seemed like defuse didn't work sometimes, and the menu was a bit fiddly. The towers being repaired also left you with nothing to do but wait for the countdown, which got frustrating quick. Perhaps some kind of danger you'd have to dodge or field while fixing the towers could have broken up that monotony, because it felt like an unskippable cutscene without much to look at. I really liked the idea though, and I found the art was cohesive if very simple. The theme did come through, but it seemed the game was more about finding mines than building connections. I did enjoy it, and would love to see this improved upon to become a truly engaging game. Nice work.

This game is quite enjoyable. The asset remind me of those Atari-era game, so it has some stylish point despite being simple. The game itself is easy to understand and work quite well. There are few points I think could be improved:
- Faster fixing tower time: Since it's not like we are defending the tower or anything, I don't see the point for a long fixing time
- Make the scanner work better for close range: I'm not sure if this one intentional or not, but the scanner has trouble detect mines at close range (behind the first "wave").

Other than that, great game you made there.
