• clever use of the theme. graphics are simple, cute. controls are frustratingly fussy, but not impossible. fun idea!
• Such an inventive take on the brief! Wonderful scaling of difficulty in the puzzles, charming pixel art. I honestly can't think of any critiques. Well done! Fantastic game. Obviously, there could be more levels but it was a week-long game jam, nobody was expecting anything long. The game was intuitive and easy to play and understand. Has so much scope for development. I'd buy and play the full version. I guess the only think I can think of is maybe a few different backgrounds, or more complex animations for the little guys. I really like the simple pixal style though so I don't even know if i agree with myself.
• I went into this game thinking, oh how hard could it be? Oh, it was so hard, but in a very good way. I loved what was done with the color palette and the simple art direction, it really worked. I think the theme came through, and the concept was executed very well -- the physics were so frustrating, but that adds to the feeling of triumph when it finally did work out. Learning to click and move my mouse slowly and gently was not a skill I'd ever learned in all my years of playing FPS, and I don't think many videogames actually reward you for that one -- it was a very cool, unique mechanic. I really enjoyed it, and I think it has a lot of replayability value as well. I'd usually comment on the lack of a soundtrack, but it didn't feel absent, and I think collision sounds added to the blocks would have turned annoying fast. Great entry, very, very cool!
