  • A genuinely beautiful game! I am impressed by how much was done in a short time. The game is challenging already. Some of the controls could be more intuitive - for example, if attack is a mouse command, then aiming feels like it should also be a mouse direction, instead of a movement direction. But overall, the controls are good, the range makes sense and the jumping in generous. Feels good to play. I will say the quest system did not feel right. I had three quest spots, but could only accept one quest at a time, and I wasn't sure how to turn in the quest at first until I manage to survive to the end. But I understand this is a first pass, and there's a lot you could do with this. The written sound effects were a really delightful touch. I know you didn't add the actual sound effects, but it did so much to create atmosphere and had a lot of charm. The music was also excellent for the mood the game had. Overall, an excellent game jam game. It follows in the footsteps of a lot of great platformers. I hope you learned a lot by making this game, and will use some of those skills again in the future.

Positively gorgerous! Great choice of music too.

At some point character regeneration mechanic stopped working, had to restart. And attack mechanic, but that one fixed itself after performing a dash.

Overall, outstanding job!
