  • Gameplay: Solid gameplay as a puzzle game. Oddly by making this a grid type format, the game is not a gambling game as much as a complex puzzle game. Addition of modifier cards was a great choice. Creativity & Innovation: This is a fun concept, and I think is an interesting use of the building connections theme. Theme Adherence:Adheres to theme by there being 2 hands each card played counts for. Playability & User Experience: Game runs smooth, but the UI for some elements was a little rough. Notably the preplayed cards being locked (the dim isn't the best initial communicator), the "pick" text for the card mod selection doesn't look like a button, and the drag/drop for the mods is a bit wonky. Art and Design: Simple, cute and fun. Some general UI elements could be done a bit better, because the lack of borders for some things makes it a bit confusing if they are a button or just text. Overall Fun Factor: I enjoyed my time with this and I think it's about as fun as a cross grid poker puzzle game can be. Maybe add tiles that change what cards are that are dealt like the initial "hand" that gets locked in? As an overall comment: This is solid, and pretty close to a shippable product barring some UI issues. I don't feel like the mechanics really evoke much on behalf of the player, but that's a difficulty of puzzle games. Overall very impressive work!

Amazing work on your game! Very well polished and even though I wasn't super well versed on poker hands it was interesting learning them
