Unfortunately I don't have the itch desktop app. The animations for the heartbeat look amazing and I'd love to know how you did it!

Thank you! The vector graphics were made entirely with Godot's 2d polygons. I'll update the Itch page tomorrow so it should be playable on web then :(

The controls are rather awkward, which would be fine, but the level design doesn't mesh with it in a way that it'd be either a good rage platformer or a good puzzle platformer.  I do like your animation work, and I do also really enjoy the idea of manipulating the ground pound's momentum to move.

Thanks for the feedback! The level design absolutely needs some work, I made three originally and it was the only one I found actually interesting to play on. Because of that though it definitely didn't get enough polishing and there are far too many hard edges to get the character stuck on! The whole game concept came out of the control scheme and the idea was that punching the directional key repeatedly would be nudging the gooey character with each press but seems like that didn't entirely come across in the final product. I have never heard of a 'rage platformer' before lol but will definitely be adding it to my vocabulary.

I really like the heart beating animation, though the game has not been upload.

Thanks for letting me know! For some reason it ran in the Itch.io app for me but it doesn't seem to work in the browser right now.

Just checked and figured out that it does seem to work! - only if u play it through the Itch desktop app though
