I think this game did really well in making players want to replay the game since each time you restart, the puzzle changes. I also think that having the puzzle stay the same if players die helps the player memorize the puzzle and makes the game more fair as opposed to having the portals randomized after each death.
The difficulty of the game was great. At first I was struggling which portals were connected, but as I play the game, I was able to remember some portals.
The game mechanics were amazing, The dynamic interplay of various game design characteristics including stochasticity, observability and more has been implemented nicely.
The inherent strategy of staying at a far-away portal to lead the enemy towards there so you can safely teleport is cool.
This game has a very smooth controler and avator animation system. The pixel art is great. The portal mechanism is also interesting. I think it allows much dexterity and strategy which is fun.
Thought the animations and art were really good and the game worked well the portals took you exactly where you needed to go.
Great potential for puzzles
I really like this game's theming and artwork. I think the overall game concept is fun and there are mechanics used that players can get better at like remembering where each portal takes you. Another mechanic I like is you can drag the enemy towards you and then enter the portal to juke it.

What could this game have done better?
****************************
I think adding a tutorial level could help players get used to the mechanics of the game. The current level has a lot of portals which may be challenging for new players.
It could have been better with lives count and some animation or indication that I am dead.
I think the amount of portals in this level makes it confuding for beginner players, so a tutorial level or a level with easier challenge would have been helpful
It would be useful if every portal looked a little different (such as by color) so that it would be easier to remember which leads to which once you figure it out.
I think maybe it can have some more compatible sound effects and visual effects when portalling between two gates.
I think it was a bit confusing at the start what you needed to do to win, also I felt lost on the steps of how I needed to get to my objective.
Unclear what was an enemy vs a portal. Unclear which portal connects to which
I feel like this game could've improved how it shows where the player moved visually. Sometime I went through a portal and I sort of had to scan the screen to see where I landed. I suggest adding additional visual feedback after entering a portal would improve the game. Also, I feel like the goal of the game could've been explained better, I'm still not too sure what the items on the platforms do.
