Gameplzy is simple, and that's what makes it good. I past 20 minutes just enjoying the first level. Only problem, there's some collision issues. By that I mean that the character and the ennemies can easily be stuck in walls. And, for now, it's ok. But if there's going to be big levels, losing progression because the character is stuck can be problematic. Never the less, the game is original and pretty looking. (love the way you rendered the blood, it's almost esthethic) And, someone else said this, but the idea of the hat being the "health point" is a nice touch. Anyway, keep going, that's a good start.
