Hi everyone. Less than 24 hours to go you feeling the hype?

This year I am making a platformer game where the goal is to collect stars to show to your friend. I will be using these assets: https://opengameart.org/content/salivs-summer-uoga-jam-3 . If you think you can match that art style and are fine with the CC0 I would like to talk about getting some extra assets made. My goal this time is to focus on programming, as such I will be hosting the project on GitHub once the jam officially starts. There will be a link here later for those that want to see the how the game is coming along. Though, I still plan on talking about my progress here.

Good luck everyone, and I look forward to seeing how your games turn out.

Edit (8-13-19): For those that want a link to the Github repository it can be found here: https://github.com/mevido/GetStars

The version I submitted was tagged "v0.1". I plan to continue working on this game.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I understand. I was hoping to outsource, but that is probably an unrealistic expectation. I should be able to manage something. Don't worry about it. : )

Make sure to also ckeck out the other assets the other assets of ansimuz, there is more for sunnyland.

https://opengameart.org/art-search?keys=famitracker might match your current music choice.

So it turns out I failed to say what I meant... I meant to ask for help with some story specific visual assets (inside of a house, swings, another character, a few extra animation, etc.). I have seen ansimuz's other sunnyland assets, but they do not look like they would match easily together (largely because they use different color ranges). I could recolor them, but I am concerned about time.

That said the famitracker keyword was a great tip! Thank you very much. If I have time I will look that over and possibly change up my song list.
