Very polished game. And quite innovative gameplay with whole star system as a sandbox. And despite that there is no sound in space, I really love the asteroid scream!

I noticed, that planets seems to be attracting each other and changing paths when passing by. Have you implemented "true" orbital mechanics for this?

Developer

Hi !

Glad you liked the game :)

No, we did not implement any inter-planets physical interactions. Godot's physics engine handles it this way.

Neat game! I included it in my Open Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks for taking the time to play them all :)

Hope you had fun. Here we learned that we have to make that "Help" button more visible/explicit, on the main screen :p

Such a simple concept, but so fun! I like how the asteroid interacts with each planet, and I can appreciate the sandbox-like gameplay. Also, the title scream is gorgeous. Great job!

Btw, the screaming asteroid is hilarious.

Didn't quite manage to break my personal goal of 600 points (my best try was 596 I think, and that included quite a bit of waiting at the end so that I could get every last point). Looks and sounds good, but I was left desiring something more. Perhaps level progression or something instead of just a random "sandbox" of planets? All things considered, it's a decent jam entry!

Developer

Thanks a lot ; )

Indeed, we noticed the game needs some progression mecanics too. But 72 hours, it's kinda short ! x)

Hi ! Thanks for the feedback. You're right, the game could be improved with some time and love. Will see if that's worth it :)
