Hello everyone.
I am OliverStuP. The project I am working on alongside AlisdairCP is known as Project Ohros. It is a 2D action-adventure game using a similar format to the older Legend of Zelda games. For this purpose, we feel that the Solarus engine is the most suitable. This is both in terms of its interface dedicated to the design of our chosen genre and our current experience with C++. The current graphics used are character sprites generated by the Universal LPC Spritesheet Generator and tilesets provided through OpenGameArt.
The game is a 2D action-adventure style game where you control a witch named Lila. She has crash landed in a dirty, futuristic city named Araphel. As magic is outlawed, she has to escape so she can reach the outside world known as Ohros. Her skill set involves both melee and magic through the use of her staff. Her spells will be utilised through both combat and adventure segments.
