Description
Our OST is for an adventure game in which the main character travels from the bottom of a mountain to their home at the summit, and meets lots of interesting friends along the way.

On mountains, you can experience each season in the course of a single day, so our soundtrack captures this concept.

Each track represents a season, which takes place at a specific time of the day.

Spring - Morning
The ambiance and cricket sounds set the scene of the year (and the day), and then the flute gently wakes you from your winter slumber.

Summer - Afternoon
This track is full of energy, which comes with the heat of the summer. The marimba and drums bring an excitement to the piece, and island bells add a hint of a tropical flair.

Fall - Evening
The footsteps represent the continuation of the trek up the mountain, while the guitar and static noise remind the listener of a cozy campfire as the sun sets.

Winter - Night
The sounds of this track are cold (the bell tones, for example) but energetic, as the character completes their quest to the top of the mountain. While the air is frigid, the journey is complete.

Spring - A New Day
Vibraphone brings the comfort of home with the calm awakening of a new day. The crickets bring the soundtrack full circle, but with a renewed energy for a new year.

I'm a fan of the ambience and textures in both of the Spring pieces, this OST is very nice and relaxing. Great job!

i love all the environmental sounds especially in Summer - Afternoon

my favorite track is actually Fall! it reminds me a lot of evening animal crossing music, so it's very fitting

It's clever that you actually use some "walk on leaves" foley as percussive element in Fall's intro -if I'm not mistaken. I like your project's simplicity overall, it's full of good vibes, I can see it being played in an indie platformer.

Love the idea of each season being a different time of day. Winter/night was my favorite - beautiful chords and melody and I can totally picture looking up at a starry winter sky. Great job!

This was so good! I really enjoyed the themes of each song. My favorite was track 2. I liked the beachy vibe and the addition of the bird sounds throughout. Great job!

I really appreciate the thought that went into this entry, the little nods to sound design were really nice and worked really well. There's a great sense of atmosphere throughout all the pieces, and I thought the instrumentation was inventive, each one really captured the tone of each season. It was a fun listen :)
