Description
This short, four-song soundtrack is set to the theme of a Story of Seasons, specifically "Seasons of Life." It was created to explore themes like growing up, moving on, and nostalgia. The primary instrument used are various clavs, which give it a punchy, 8-bit like sound that would fit well under a 2d platformer. I used Logic Pro and many of its available instruments to complete this project. I created each song 1-by-1, starting with the Menu Page and ending with A Longing, starting with improvised ideas and then building on them when it sounded right.

I felt very well the theme you describe, and the coherence of tracks are very well assured. I also found your clavs exploitations are very well optimised for video game language. good job!
I loved all the pieces! They were very minimal and I was really grooving out to them! Nice work!
very cozy and minimalistic! love it
This whole soundtrack feels nice and cozy, great job!
Very nice sound, I liked the way you built the tracks, good work!
This is a very charming short-yet-sweet collection. You make a lot out of the one instrument, and it's a good choice for that punchy sort of sound. I like how you layer different melodies and arpeggios and ostinatos together to create different tempos, it's very pleasant to listen too. Great work!
Pretty fun little minimalist ost. I like the album artwork whether it be original or not.
Thanks! The art was made using the AI app 'WOMBO by Dream', so it's original, but only kind of I guess.
I love how each track builds as you add layers and phrases. Very satisfying! Especially with all the different melodies playing simultaneously during An Ending and A Longing. I'm a huge fan of layered melody and you pulled it off exceptionally. Plus there's these melancholy undertones to the harmonies you chose that add some real emotional depth to the upbeat rhythms. Great job!
Thanks! I really enjoy overlapping melodies as well, so it's something I wanted to experiment with more on this project. A lot of my inspiration for the project came from the song "Pink Batman" by Dan Deacon.
Menu Song: This is catchy. I like your expression of a small idea and expanding on it. I also like the alternating pan of the clavichord.
A Beginning: I like the bass pedal tone under the chord changes. The slow steady bass drum and the building of layers gives this track nice forward motion.
An Ending: I like the chord voicings you use. The third chord in the A section using the inversion gives it the added tension that makes the fourth chord that much sweeter.
A Longing: I could listen to this track loop over and over. The high register arpeggios and the smooth drum beat are a great backdrop for this melody.
Overall: I think you have great musical intuition. The theme and variation is evident in each of the tracks and is a strength of your work. I only wish the tracks were longer!
Your comments could not be more kind. I have never felt more confident in myself as an artist than after I read this.
And as for the lengths, I just didn't have enough extra time to devote to them. I wish that I had more time to spend on them, because I would've loved to dive in for full length tracks.
