Description
I've composed three fantasy pieces and tried to recreate the feeling of the soundtrack in Skyrim with a more melodic lines compared to the original.

"Leaving the Glade" is a more melodic approach to its inspiration track, "Awake". Because of that more melodic approach, the samples I've used is not able to handle those fast notes, and did end up sounding synth - like.

"Village on the Mountain" is a town theme with a serene setting in mind. Learned how to do some mixing and mastering while working on this track. You might notice that the solo violin I used has a rather harsh tone.

"Bite and Maul" is my favourite of the three, mainly because I like composing battle themes. It is a much more grandiose version compared to the original, and in hindsight might be unfitting for a regular enemy encounter in a video game. Did some tuning on the low strings so I can get that bass end growl like in the original track.

The DAWs I've used are REAPER and Studio One, with majority of my samples are from Spitfire Audio.

These are so cinematic. I love the harmonies you use - they give momentum to your tracks and tell a story. Your melodies also flow very nicely. Bite and Maul is also my favorite of the three with the crunchy and growly strings with the timpani drums and the sustained bass underneath driving it forward. Great work!

I'm a massive fan of Skyrim and its soundtrack, and your pieces do a really nice job of evoking the feel of that game. You did a great job with those Spitfire samples, too, they sound very convincing!

The tracks sounded fairly natural and atmospheric. I personally liked "Village on the Mountain" with how serene and emotional it was!

Well, that's very good! Very pleasant to listen, great job! And yes, it's sometimes difficult to made synth instruments sounds like natural ones, but you managed !
