I'll just start my saying that this isn't my usual read. Highschool romance doesn't hold much interest for me these days; all the drama and cringy teenager stuff long become a bore, however I decided to give a chance to Meteor Shower and I'll admit, I'm not disappointed!
The plot may not be anything groundbreakingly new, but the characters are very well designed and thought-out, which really leads this visual novel down a path of wholesome innocence, and are what make this title really shine. Lori's struggles feel realistic, as do those of her friends. Issues presenting themselves among a group and finding ways to overcome them together is all part of a solid friendship, right?
Meteor Shower is a bit of a slow-burner but nothing feels rushed or lagging. It's all very well paced out in my opinion. The audio feels carefully picked to enhance each scene and the lovely art helps to pull it all together.
This is one title I'd recommend and I'll be keeping an eye out for future updates!
