I think the game is pretty original. I like the mechanics, the sound of opening and closing tiles is nice to listen to over and over again, the jumpscares are not too loud and overdone, everything works, there is no lag. However it's pretty hard to survive for the 5 minutes. I got it on my 7th try and 5th and 6th were really close. I enjoyed this game. I would give it an overall of 4/5.

Thank you! The game is definitely hard, and I didn't take enough of the time to test it, but luckily there's nothing extremely special about the ending (it's more of a "you win!" type ending), it's just something for you to feel accomplished about if you beat it. I'm glad you like the game!

A good idea, but quite difficult to play and learn! Particularly when two monsters come at once, the window of time for dealing with both is just so dang tiny (Especially, i think, with green). I don't know that I'd ever think to use red, just wouldn't have the time to believe it necessary. It also took me about 10 tries to figure out how to play. Your description phrased it as "sacrifice a white panel in order to cover the panel where the monster lies" but in gameplay it seems more like you just have to keep a certain number of tiles open, there's no real covering up. I was trying to click and drag tiles, and was wondering why sometimes I could click a monster tile to cover it up and sometimes I couldn't.

Yeah teaching the game was a bit tough and the hardest part about making a simple game like this is knowing when is it too much and when I should introduce mechanics. If I were to redo this game knowing everything, I would definitely start with the window of time for the enemies large and slowly shrink them as time goes on. Thank you for the feedback!
