Yeah, its fun and all, but when fighting the hot dog i also get some error

its written there

Error

death.lua.13: bad argument #1 to 'draw' (Drawable expected, got string)

Traceback

[C]: in function 'draw'

death.lua:13: in function 'draw'

main.lua:13: in function 'draw'

[C]: in function 'xpcall'

its fun however, and also idk why if you dodging while your meter is full your next punch is miss no matter what

its also fun shouting ora while spamming Z and X lmao (just in case you watch jojo)

Are you sure you were playing the latest version? I fixed that crash in an update.

As for the meter, you miss if you let it stay full for too long. If you dodge when it just hits max and then let go, you can press to attack and not miss, as the meter doesn't go up if you're dodging.

This game has 10/10 art and decent sound, but where it shines is the gameplay. Timing the x and z hits was super satisfying, and the beatdown to chomp combo was fun to figure out. It got old during the hotdog fight though, and my fingers started to hurt.

I do not know if there are checkpoints, because whenever I died I would get this error: https://imgur.com/a/uqJmoKA

It sucked having to restart after the totally chad wimpy kid aced me, but overall this was very fun. The story at the beginning had me in tears!

So sorry that happened! Thanks for reporting & the feedback, I fixed the crash. Got anxious and rushed some finishing details of the game (I submitted it the minute it ended).

Windows release has been updated, used to have a batch file that did all the DLL copying and stuff for me but without it I totally forgot! Thanks y'all.

It was a bit confusing to use Z to skip the text instead of Enter of Space, but you gotta love a game that allows you to go ORA ORA ORA ORA

The executable is missing a bunch of DLLs, but the LOVE file works fine. You have to install Löve, though.

You need to upload the entire build file as a zip. Otherwise the game cannot run.
