So i made a lot of characters in ms paint and want to import it to my game engine but it always leaves a white background where you didn't draw. How can i remove it?

Great question! So when it comes to paint jam, you have two options. You can either use another art program (I highly recommend paint.NET) to cut out your art and add transparency, or you can leave it in and do the optional challenge we have to leave transparency in your art! That being said, it's entirely up to you!

Also, as just a heads up, all art and code must be done during the jam weekend! While I def recommend practicing and figuring out your workflow, please don't work on your game just yet, especially since there will be a theme! :)
