Hi, I have a few questions.

My understanding is that we can use existing music and don't have to create our own as long as we have the legal rights to. I this the case for sound effects too or are we expected to create our own?

In regards to the MS colour pallet challenge is this the pallet from the Windows XP or Windows 7 version of paint?

Is there a particular art style you're after and if so can you upload some examples?

Also when trying to access the Discord I get "Invalid Link"

Hello!

You can use existing sound effects, as long as you have the legal right to!

Either color palette works! Whichever one is present in your version of paint counts!

We don't have a targeted art style, as I encourage you to express yourself however you want, but what I mean in that section is that if you are using a program other than paint, you attempt to not utilize things such as smooth brushes, brushes with textures, or crazy amount of colors/painting. If you are looking for an idea of what that looks like, def peek at all the past paint jam entries! Here's a link to one of our last jams! A lot of the style will also be decided by the theme!

The discord is on hiatus at the moment, but will be returning either closer to Paint Jam 2021, or Paint Jam but long this time 2021!
