Hello everyone,
I’m a composer new to game jams, though not new to games. You can see some of my credits here and here I’ve done the equivalent of game jams in the film world (48-hour film festival, etc.). I think this would be a fun way to practice writing for games and to meet some people!
You can hear samples of my work on Soundcloud.
I like the spirit of this jam — low tech! I suppose I could do the equivalent in my music production — use only the stock instruments in my DAW or only iOS instruments, or … just record some musical sounds! The limitations could be inspiring!

One more thing, this service would be absolutely free of charge. However, I do ask that there be a written agreement between me and the developer. This is a simple, short agreement that provides the developer a license to use the music in the game and any promotion of it; I retain the ownership of the music. It also provides assurance to the developer that the music is original. Hoping this does not come across as unreasonable. It seemed to be off putting to a developer on itch.io to whom I offered some music. If you have any thoughts about this, I’d be sincerely interested in them!
Thanks!
Charlotte
