Interesting concept. It's easy to understand and learn the mechanics. I would say it's a bit too repetitive for the length of the game, I would cut the time to get to the end by half or add new mechanics. Overall still fun :)
its just chapter 1 XD
I had fun playing your game. The controls were simple and as soon as I learned what I was supposed to do I was smooth sailing for a long time. So there are three speeds and your vehicle must be moving at the coinciding one when passing through the corresponding speed signs. When you see a ghost, you pull the lever. It sounds like a simple premise but I feel as though it could be elaborated upon. Have you ever seen the show called Star Wars: Star Tours? In it, the navigator of the vessel takes you on a wild ride with many twists and turns and things going wrong during the trip. Perhaps you could expand upon the story and have the navigator mess up from time to time to make it more scary. You could have scary encounters like zombies passing by here and there. Cool, fun, neat, little game!
Felt like I was steaming through the mainframe knocking those ghosts dead!!
Definitely a cool concept with potential to become even more.
The controls were a little finnicky here and there, specifically with having to flick the joystick around. Pulling the lever was good though!
Otherwise, the panic was palpable, and boy did I ever jump out of my seat my first time losing!!
Would love to see this fleshed out some day with a story of some kind tied into it. You already had a good start making the little character narrator at the beginning.
Awesome concept. This is going to sound like an odd critique, but the jump scares were a little too loud. Also it might be a good idea to separate the tutorial from the actual gameplay as it is hard to read the instructions and play the game simultaneously. It was fun though, and adapting to the obstacles was a fun mechanic.
Thank you for your comment. I made the jump scare so intense and high that it would be very scary because I want the players to cry 😂
I like the setting of being a train driver, especially for a horror game. I think that has a lot of potential.
