Hi! I normally don't really leave comments or reviews but I thought this was worth leaving one. It's honestly really surprising that you guys were able to make this in a week. The game was interesting, entertaining and honestly, the saving mechanic's dope lmao. Pretty nice! The ending got me intrigued, waiting for a sequel :) Good job!

This is awesome! the design is just right and the aesthetic is great giving you a midnight feel. its also incredibly funny and gives me some undertale vibes. :> - Pit

Hey, thank you so much! Some of our decisions were indeed inspired by undertale. I'm really glad you found it funny, that's what we were going for.

Overall good game and gives vibes from older flash games I used to play with some hidden jokes around.

  • Theme was greatly used by having to sneak behind foes and hiding in objects placed
  • Not much to say about graphics ; simple 2d pixels
  • Fun while it lasted needs part two :)
  • Not the soundtrack I would use at the end but the sound effects were well chosen
  • Simple movement with arrow keys like other 2d games
Developer

Thank you for reviewing! Glad you noticed the hidden jokes.

I really like the design of Emily's house, overall great game but where's my belly rub?

Here's your belly rub *rub*

I really liked how the theme is used in this game and i loved the graphics especially the toilet roll logo and the animation details in the city. Also love the idea to use the toilet as savepoint with Steve's diarrhea.  There are a lot of of object that you can interact with it and i love it because i usually check everything when playing games.

Awesome game, waiting for a sequel or a remaster or a 4K ver.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the review haha, the animations in the city unfortunately weren't made by us (Check out GuttyKreum for more stuff), but we really enjoyed making the game. We'll look into a possible sequel but for the moment we can't confirm anything :P

Amazing game with great graphics and music. Although it was kinda weird when Steve sat down and ate lasagna for 30 minutes, it was sorta out of place. Besides that, mastapeece!

Thanks for playing our game!

I simply love the story but it's too bad I couldn't enter Emily's house because I died while I was in the middle of a dialog and it got bugged. But nice story and mechanics! I just feel that I didn't need to use the hiding spots that much (at least during the city part, since I wasn't able to play the rest), evading the lights was enough for me. I was also a little confused about what could possibly be a hiding spot, the city was very detailed. Overall, great game!

Developer(+2)

Oh, sorry to hear that! We heard someone had the same issue and we're trying to resolve this. If you do want to finish the story though, reload the save file and it should respawn at the latest checkpoint without the dialog so you can complete it normally. Thanks for taking the time to rate the game!

Yo, neat game! I did have a bug pop up when I entered Emily's house where an enemy caught me while a dialog box was on screen. It sent me back while the dialog box was stuck on the screen. The game would no longer let me interact with objects or progress. Other than that I got a kick out the plot of the game, Well done.

Developer

We'll try fixing the bug, thank you very much for reviewing our game!
