http://I will submit it soon :)

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
not yet

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
This is a visual novel made in Gdevelop 5. It uses the w,a,s and d keys as well as some additional keys. Silence of The Seas is about a pirate, Alistair and his friend, Lilian. It's a very short game btw..

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
This is a game about pirates and the main character has been cursed into a sword.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
None. I just would like to say thank you for making this game jam and giving me the opportunity to release my game to a wider audience. Also, I would like to say thank you for the awesome and unique theme. I had lots of fun writing the story and designing the characters. :) Thx again. Have a great day ;)

No GDD yet, hope you get it out soon!

cycling WASD feels a bit tiresome.

Developer

sure, it's coming soon :) hahah, well, I'm sorry about that tho 😅 I wanted to only use a key or just a mouse click but I'll have to figure it out with the engine that I'm using cuz if I did that then, it'll skip a few scenes

Depending on your engine, there should be a difference between GetKey (this checks if a key is currently down) and GetKeyDown (this checks if a key was just pressed). That's in Unity.
Alternately you could make every text box have a mandatory 1 second timer so someone could hold to skip, but if they press it doesn't.
