Thank you! glad to see you enjoyed the power mechanic!

Much appreciated!

Read the game jam rules

Your submission does not do either of these and will not be judged.

Game requires a public GDD or it will not be judged.

Make a new game for your entry, you still have 4 days to join the jam with a new entry!

Requirements as per the rules:

  1. Game must run in browser
  2. Game must be free
  3. Development must take place over the course of the game jam
  4. Game must include a game design document

Your game is a bought asset flip that you're shilling for $1 and fits none of these. It will not be judged.

Cover image is AI generated, which also breaks the rules.

Published 19 days ago, not made for this jam. All jam work must be done within the time constraints.

No GDD, paywalled, no html5 export, obvious asset flip, does not meet the theme.

Looks good!

Fantastic prototype, even runs on my mobile device. Solid GDD as well!

Great GDD and prototype runs! Keep going!

Great GDD, solid prototype!

Have you considered adding a background to the room?

Rename your GDD.

Performance hit for me is only when looking at the tree. Delete the tree and you'll probably get it working just fine.

Well done on a prototype and public GDD!

I suggest sprucing up the GDD with header styles if possible.

Nice prototype, and the GDD presentation is very well done, but I think the review process will reject your GDD if it's not explicitly a Google doc.

Heads up, to be judged your game needs to work in browser (this helps cut down on malware), and you must include a link to a public Google doc game design document.

Godot, unity, and gamemaker all export to html5 for itch, but only specific early builds of unreal will export to it.

Itch does give an option to force a size, perhaps you can rescale the game in itch and work in the new room confines in gm2?

Sorry to hear about the tech difficulties, if nothing else you might be able to also include a non-web build. Judges won't see it, but players might.

Thank you! The jam is not over yet, so please try other games too!

I really like Port Defender at this time.

That is a solid idea! Unfortunately, it would require a bit of an overhaul to the camera engine, as the camera has points it moves to and rotates towards, and we would need to make it snap into and lock into this specific point.

Might be possible, though. I'll look into it.

Thank you! We put a lot into this jam and it has been an incredible experience so far. I appreciate that you noticed things like the public repo.

Thanks! If you press M or click the middle mouse, you get the simplified missile controls

If I had more time I'd implement a gamepad for sure!

I'm unable to see/play the game at this time.

Good initial prototype, fantastic GDD!

I suggest adding some more detail to the GDD.

GDD is not publicly accessible.

Fantastic GDD and a great prototype!

Astounding GDD and prototype. Added to my collection for games to return to when the jam completes.

GDD is short and sweet, gives a very concise description of the game.

Nice GDD! I see some empty spots in the Art section at this time.

Prototype shows the concept of the game well!

Nice concept! The GDD looks information-complete, but I would suggest spending some time on formatting if you can.

Prototype is playable, one possible note would be to prevent the music from restarting whenever you enter a new room.

GDD will eventually be required to submit, but I see that it's a placeholder for now.

Currently, your game is not eligible for judging for the following reasons:

A) No GDD (looks like you've got one on the way though!)

B) Does not run in browser - this is a requirement.

Note: Judges may not have access to additional people to attempt multiplayer games

GDD is solid!

Prototype visuals are nice!

I got myself stuck in the first level , but otherwise a fluid gameplay experience.

GDD is solid!

Prototype is visually solid!

Single button for jump/attack can be a little frustrating, but perhaps that is part of the intent.

Note: all GDD submissions must be a Google Doc- your submission is a Markdown file hosted in google drive.

If you don't make an actual google doc for the submission, it won't be graded.

The prototype has a good framerate and I like the translucent tiles. Very visually appealing, good to put up in the background.

Good feedback on the hud, not sure if I'll be able to get it in before the jam completes.

Thanks!
