Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
Secrets of Sunder is an investigative puzzle game about retrieving the fragments of an entity’s soul that have been bound to weapons. Unlock abilities and levels by discovering unqiue spell patterns that might help you change the outcome of this story.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Within the levels of the game, the player can only cast spells from the fragment of their soul that is bound to that level's weapon.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Was looking for a project to improve my pixel art, so unfortunately ran out of time for the jam version, which only has one level to unlock.
No music or sfx added, but will try to get some bits included before the deadline if I can!

love the art direction. really striking! good job! game play is a bit clunky, but i got used to it! glad you participated!

Thanks for trying it!

I tried playing, but it just repeats the intro cutscene over and over. I never get to input the spell myself. I've tried restarting it a couple of times but it doesn't really work. Sorry!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! The repeat is intentional, but hopefully the second loop should change the dialogue (to tell you how to open the spell casting)?
Then you need to figure out what spell to cast instead :)

The animations and art were really cool but I’m missing something, I couldn’t figure out how to cast my first spell. I connected the points like it showed and nothing happened.

Developer

Thanks for playing!
Difficult to tell without seeing which spell and how you've tried casting, but there's probably more clues to follow.

Here's a possible hint explaining how a spell can be cast - Casting tutorial (spoiler)
