Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
ICh_Bin(M) has the player in a race against the clock to come to terms with their own existence and decide "Are They Just a Weapon or can They be Something Greater?"
Fast action platformer where the player is always running against the clock. WASD + Q and E and Enter as controls, also contorller support for DPAD Face Buttons. Trianle / Y / Enter to pause and look around with the camera!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as Glitch, a suddenly self aware AI within the supercomputer aboard an already launched Nuclear Weapon. It is up to the players quick thinking and navigation to decide what the little AI does with their new found sentience.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I NOTICED A STRANGE ERROR, WHEN STARTING THE GAME IT MAY BE FROZEN ON THE BOOT SEQUENCE SCREEN, GO TO A DIFFERENT TAB THEN COME BACK AND HIT RESUME.
The final boss has a REALLY cool stuttering effect that I simply COULD NOT get to trigger all the time. It is proximity based and will have a more exaggerated effect the further he is from center of the room after Gibson says "We are So Fired."
Other than that, this is my second game and I think it's a huge improvement over my first jam. Thank you to everyone who helped!

like you said, I had to tab out to be able to start the game, but I am glad I did! you created a great atmosphere. not sure if was the intention, but I felt a bit of a rage platformer lol. I think I would prefer if I could see a bit more of the screen - maybe even a button to zoom out so you can keep the pixel size for most of the time? or specific places of the level where you can zoom out. either way, cool interpretation of the theme, I enjoyed the crisp movement!
Hello!
Full disclosure, I do not know how to do a zoom! I watched a friend play and he was doing the camera pause every few seconds as he was moving and it felt weirdly fluid! The reason the screen in so small is it's actually gameboy scale, 160 x 144, one of the restrictions my artist put on me so he could make the assets consistently and quickly. Also I think this might be the first comment on one of my games, thank you so much for playing!
Ah! didnt know of the restrictions. Actually, now that you say it, it really does give a nostalgy on older games that usually had a very limited view. In this case, I backtrack my other comment and I think the way it is is very fine! reminds me of VVVVV, which is an incredible game =)
I ONLY just picked that up a week or so into this jam actually. It was not an intended inspiration but definitely matches it for sure.
