Yes

Summarise your game!
Oobie’s Escape is a 2D action platformer about a slime called Oobie, whose goal is to make it out of their cave while fighting monsters, eating monsters, and learning about themself.
Oobie can move around slowly using WASD or Arrow Keys. However, he has a powerful jump allowing him to get to high places and damage monsters. Charge Oobie's jump by holding "Space" and aim with your cursor.
Oobie also has the ability to take strength from his defeated foes. Press "E" over a defeated enemy to absorb them, gaining new abilities. Use "Left-Click" to access these new powers.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Our approach to this topic varied in many ways, as displayed in our shared brainstorming document. Still, we landed on the idea of your body being the vehicle for damage and abilities, as you are a slime called Oobie who can eat creatures and gain their skills. This grants you new attacks that you make by using your body, such as hitting a creature with your tongue or generating magic to shoot from yourself. If we were to pursue this game further, bosses would have permanent effects on the player if they ate them, and new enemies would be introduced as the player progresses, introducing newer abilities to steal. Still, for this project's scope, we left it to three of four enemies being consumable. Although the only thing required to beat the game is yourself, as your jump hurts enemies, as you are the weapon.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
We think the judges should pay attention to that banger of a soundtrack as well as our beautiful handcrafted pixel art!!!

Reminds me of what I think Shovel Knight is. I had fun jumping around, I didn't even realize there was an objective until i saw a green arrow, Fun game

I had fun with this, I had to read the controls to figure out that mouse pointed my jump.
Some of the jumps are hard. FYI: The unity fullscreen button doesn't work

The blue fullscreen button works. We aren't sure why the other one doesn't.
