Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
You play as F.L.A.M.E. a cute little program that is the embodiment of your computer firewall. Your mission is to be the first and last line of defense against viruses, malwares, and trojans that are trying to infect the computer. With each wave, the enemies become harder and more dangerous, but so do you! You evolve with new attacks ready to deal with the new threats. Are you ready to defend the system to your last dying flame?

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
We went for a very direct interpretation, the main character being the representation of a computer firewall defending the machine from multiple attacks.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Despite that we couldn't fit all the initial features we wanted like multiple characters, an upgrade shop or more variety of enemies, we are really proud of the game we made. Please let us know how the balancing is at the moment as we couldn't do much play testing and we are not sure if it is too easy or too hard xD Thank you for your time and consideration!

Nice job! This seemed very focused on gameplay and progression and I had no0 trouble figuring out what to do. It felt like it became more challenging, but I slowly grew more powerful and became more skilled as well.

The sudden bump in challenge was a little startling, but turned out to be less scary than I initially thought.

Thanks a lot! Definitely the balancing is a point that can be improved, we didn't have enough time for play testing 😅 Indeed mechanics was a point we really focus on since we felt it was a core point for the game! Hopefully, we will be able to refine and expand on more mechanics and characters 😁
