Very interesting game, I think if I understood how to cater to inter net humour more I'd be better at this but it's difficult to figure out what exactly works with each community, at least on a first playthrough.

Having said that I think everything was pretty well executed, I agree with another comment a tutorial would have been nice, perhaps to show what to look for in a community to find the different humour types.

Was pretty fun, good submission!

interesting game. This game feels like gameception to me.

Interesting! Yeah, we did encounter the feed bug but wasn't a game-breaker. I wondered if perhaps there could be a little tutorial phase as I was a bit lost! We eventually figured out that you had to "harvest" captions and pictures, but I'm still a bit in the dark as to how they gain popularity or how to tell which sites have which preferences. Still, I think it's a really creative approach, I liked the clean look and UI, and the courage to take the road less travelled genre-wise! Nice work!

A tutorial is definitely something we need to add in the future!

Unfortunately we didn't get to playtest it much before launch, so there may be some inconsistencies in the game in regards to Popularity and other indicators. Definitely an aspect of the game that will require more attention. However, we do hope it is possible to get the hang of it with at most 2 playthroughs in the current build c:

Thank you for your feedback! It's been helpful!

Dev Note: There is currently a small bug where the Feed section doesn't load immediately or takes some seconds to load when the game is started. Unfortunately I won't be able to fix it before the jam is over. Switching website fixes the issue.
