  • Fun driving. talked to 3 NPCs that called. Made 6.66$ but was confused mainly by some strange lock ups, like not always being able to get out of the car when i wanted to. Got stuck on the hospital(?) building and wasnt able to reverse out, and had to slowly slide to the side. drove around the town and its very solidly built, no bugs as far as I could tell but the gameplay loop itself is a bit bare bones currently. wasn't able to assemble any orders as the tell us about your game suggests, just driving to customers by following the arrow and delivering to them. Not sure where the theme comes in here, other then the flavor that its a bagel shop that I work at. Overall though, this is an incredibly stable and well put together base, keep developing this and adding layers. you've got a good environment and control set here.

Tell us about your game!
This is a bagel delivery game where you take orders over the phone, assemble what the customer asks for, and hop in your van to rush the order over to the customer.

You are Spencer, a helpless gacha game addict, working dead end jobs to feed your habit while the company that owns both the gacha game and bagel shop slowly expands their control over the city and beyond.

Extra Notes
Everything in this project was made during the jam specifically for this project. Also, the game works with either gamepad or keyboard + mouse, but gamepad is strongly recommended.

Solid prototype!

We spoke on a call a bit!

I didn't find any bugs.

For me the things that made the game confusing were mostly lack of feedback when making the order and not being able to fix an order when I noticed I made it wrong.

I really liked the voiceover for the phone. I liked that all the ingredients had their own graphics. I like the idea of being docked money for hitting things in the environment.
