Tell us about your game!
Spreadpainter is a 2D grid-based battling game where your movement is limited by the tiles you paint with your attacks. Tactical decisions need to be made about landing attacks on enemies or expanding your movement area.
The game consists of multiple combat encounters, with increasing difficulty. After each round of combat, there will be a possibility to upgrade your spells or weapon which will make them more potent, there is a multitude of different spells and attacks each with their unique style so choose wisely!
All attacks revolve around painting your spells and basic attacks apply paint to areas and you can only walk on painted areas (otherwise you will take damage). Most attacks are balanced around the paint area, cool down, and level of control.
Enemies remove paint, and if they remove the paint on the tile on which you are standing you will walk on a tile without paint! So you will take damage.

I like the concept! Makes for a fun experience to manage how the enemies attack you but also destroy the path you painted. The levels are well-crafted, but can get difficult very fast. Overall, I enjoyed the cute vibes and I can see your great effort in crafting this game. Well done on making it~ 🌻✨
Quick Controls:
WASD: Move
Q and E: (un)select spell
Mouse 1: attack/cast spell
Quick gameplay explained:
Enemies only die after they are fully painted and hit with a melee attack (or with your teleport spell on E)
Walking on unpainted tiles will hurt you, enemies remove painted tiles.
Enemies move after you move 2 times or when you wait for too long
If the game shutsdown at the start menu for unknown reasons:
restarting it a couple of times might fix it
