Tell us about your game!
The darkness has closed in. Our fortified city is the only beacon of light left in this world. Our enemies have readied themselves for one final battle, to wipe us clean from this earth. But news has travelled to us of a light in the North, a sign of hope and prosperity. We must resist the onslaught of our enemies and spread our light to the North. It is our only hope.
LUMENATION is a tower defense game where the goal is to illuminate a path to the beacon of light in the North whilst tactically placing towers to defend the home base.
HOW TO PLAY:
- Select from 3 towers, an archer tower, mortar tower and a lumen harvester.
- Place your tower near an already existing structure to expand your base and spread your light.
- Spread your light to the beacon in the North to win the game.

Love the game I hope you will improve upon it . Really want to see more towers, different enemy types, maybe things to do with terrain and more levels. Also one criticism about camera controls when you go up to north and after that trying to go down can be a little challenging because of the ui. Maybe we can go from left to right instead of up. SPREAD THE LIGHT.
Thank you for the feedback! More towers and enemies was definitely a part of the plan, but we didn’t manage to implement all of our ideas in the given time. I like your idea of having terrain being incorporated into the level, maybe some hills, rivers, and trees would make it more interesting. I also noticed the camera movement controls were a bit wonky, especially near the UI. In hindsight we should have added WASD camera movement which would have been much easier to control. Really appreciate you taking the time to try the game and giving us some feedback!
Loved your ideas I hope you will add those to the game. I know time constraints are limiting the content you can put in your game. Love to see more from you.
