Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you :)

Thanks for the feedback and for letting me know about the bugs.

Very nice! Addicting gameplay, very Carcassonne. The core mechanic is good and I hope you continue to expand on it in the future. Well done!

Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Overall, really good execution. I thought your level design and introduction of new mechanics was evenly paced and well thought through.

The only criticism I have is the player movement as it can feel a bit unresponsive at times. I think in a game where the puzzles are solved by navigating the level, movement is a very crucial aspect of the game. The player is then also punished for incorrect movements when falling into pits. I agree with your previous comments that the grid/tile based movement system isn’t very apparent from the floor design and maybe making this a bit more implicit would improve things.

With that being said, I though everything else worked perfectly and I thought the combination of art and sound design gave the game a great atmosphere and I hope you continue with this project in the future. Well done!

Very good idea. Even though the sound quality isn’t the greatest, you still have a lot to be proud of here. I also didn’t at first realize that the sounds were full clips. I think with some improvements in the ‘tutorial’ and sound design you will have a very good game. You could also map the sounds to keys on the keyboard to make it accessible to handicapped players. Overall, well done!

Nice work! Well done.

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

Haha, it does indeed. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing :)

Really nice idea! I enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of The Stanley Parable.

Some feedback: I would tone down the motion blur just a tad and just double check the triggers when falling off the platform, I ended up falling infinitely a couple times. I really couldn’t see the hidden door in the flatlands level and only found it because of a comment here. The puzzles are good enough and don’t need the added difficulty by being invisible. Maybe you could have the outline render when a certain distance from the door? The graphics and sound design worked well together and the game has a great atmosphere to it

Overall a great game. Well done!

So glad you enjoyed! I will take a look :)

Thank you!

Really cool idea. There’s nothing I can really add to what’s already been said in the comments. Nice work!

So glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback, and for letting me know about the bug :)

Wow, really liked the levels you designed. Felt good to complete them. Well done!

I do think the amount of walking distracts from the good atmosphere and story you have constructed for this game.

Very nice little puzzle game, I enjoyed playing through it. Well done!

Very nice game with some good level design. I’m not sure if this was intentional, but I was able to warp to a door that had not been unlocked by a key yet. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback!

I liked the rotating room mechanic, very cool!

Nice work. One improvement I would make is to have the music continue and not restart after each death. I think because its a game where the player can be expected to die and restart the level quite a number of times, having the music just continue is maybe a bit more seamless. Good job!

Very cool concept, well done! I did struggle a bit with the perspective as it can be difficult to tell how far away an object is from the camera. But overall, very nice game.

Interesting take on the controls. A bit tricky at first, but you get used to it. Nice work.

Excellent work from all involved! The art and sound design really brings it all together and the emotion comes across so well. It was very compelling and I just wish there were even more little puzzles to solve.

Awesome! So glad you enjoyed it, I guess you’d be the perfect target audience for this one haha.

Thank you for the feedback! Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I turn off the sprite when the key is picked up, but I forgot to turn off the collider. Luckily not a difficult fix :)

Thanks for playing! I’ll check out the ghosts in your game.

I love the way they fly of the screen. Nice job!

Oh no, well I guess that’s one of the downsides of using a free asset pack for your art! Though I thought the sprites were charming haha.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure if the relation to coolmathgames is good or bad haha.

Thanks for playing! I’ll be sure to add options to change the control scheme.

Clever idea and excellent execution. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback! Allowing for custom controls would be nice and would increase the accessibility.
