  • Love the idea! But the balancing, respawn of materials and speed with which the lantern runs out, need some work. Otherwise it might get very frustrating for new players quite quickly. Hope you'll keep working on it. Thanks for the submission and well done!

It has a very interesting idea, but I do admit there were problems I have encountered. The most time I have been able to survive for, wasabout 270 seconds, because I was unable to obtain any more logs. I don't know if I was going the wrong directions all the time, but it seemed to me like the logs have completely depleted or something.

On the other hand, I really like the design of the little guy I played as a n it intrigued me what kind of backsotry he might have. The loop also, altough fairly short, is somewhat catchy and it reminds me of some sort of a horror flash project, haha!

Overall, I'll probably try it again in the future, because even tho I was a bit furstrated, I still had a lot of fun! Good job!

Thanks for checking the game out! Yeah its intended that the resources do not respawn at all, although I was not aware of this until 15 minutes before the deadline 😆. Definitely something I would like to change in the future if we continue work on the game. Was my first time making music so glad you found it catchy! Making music is definitely something I want to keep working on and your kind words and feedback definitely encourage that.
