A rhythm real-time strategy game that allows you to control the scene by dancing. Dance aweful to turn dancers against songs you have. Inspire everyone to love your music style, town by town.
The goal of the game is to get all venues to play one of the music genres.
Move our hero with the arrow keys and use the Q, E, A, D, Z, and C keys to dance. Make sure you dance to the beat.
Our hero can bust out the following dance moves:
E Q E Q - Inspire others to start dancing
Z Z Z C - Demotivate others, so they'll stop dancing
Z A D C - Promote a venue, so it becomes more popular
The venue's popularity depends on the number of characters dancing in the proximity and can be boosted by the player. Unpopular venues will close down, while popular venues will expand. Bigger venues reach a bigger audience.
Can you influence the town, so everyone dances to the music you like? Good luck!

We've created a single level during the game jam. If the demo proves popular we'll create a full game with more moves, different type of NPCs, venues, and of course much more levels.

Unique gameplay with an interesting choice for keys. I never really got how to spread the other genres over to the other venues. I demotivated in the Latin venue, and when I decided to move around, all other venues where blank, so I still don't get why it happened. I though Demotivating was going to affect the venue I was closest, not the other way around.

The best strategy is to upgrade the vunue of the genre you like first to ensure that venue won’t close down.
It’s correct that demotivation only affects the nearby venue. While venues should stay open, there’s an (unintented) chance they close by them selves. Having two venues close is really bad luck.
Just wanted to say, game of the year!
Try to change all venues to play the music of the genre you like.
Tip: You'll need to do it all... Close down venues of other genres, motivate everyone to dance your style, and upgrade existing venues.
