- I love the idea! Moonlighter was a gem and I can clearly see the inspiration for this! The art style is charming and the music is fitting! A few things to note: - The objects in the world could do with a little adjustment for hit boxes. A lot of the objects that look like you could walk around them you simply can't and I ended up getting stuck and dying. - The enemies move a little too fast for comfortable use of the potions for combat. It might be a good idea to introduce the player to the game and the combat with just a few, slow moving and weak enemies, then ramp it up. In games it's usually done to get the player used to the controls and to incite a sense of progression. - It would be nice to have a melee weapon of some kind or a magic wand, to provide lower damage alternatives for the potions with no cooldown, so you don't feel completely defenseless when everything is on cooldown and there is a giant slime running at you at top speed. All in all, it's a good idea for a game! I recommend polishing it a little as you learn more about different aspects of game development keep up the good work, guys!
- Clicking the bed to go to bed didn't work. I tried and tried. Not sure what was causing that glitch. The premise of the game looks to be quite fun and I really wished I was able to play. Good luck in the next game jam!

Shapot is a 2d, pixel art, adventure ,story game about an alchemist trying to uncover the mysteries about his dream/nightmare. As the player go uncover the mysteries of your dream/nightmare.
Extra Notes
This is our first ever game and we had practically 0 game dev experience so we thank pirate software for hosting this game jam and making us learn new skills.

This is very nice game, anyway I can't get past all the black circles because I always seem to lose a lot of health every time I get attacked and I would die in the process. I like the idea of switching between different alchemy powers, and it makes the game feel diverse in its player power approach. It's like do you want to switch to orange potion to attack enemies or the black potion for teleporting from one place to another without having to move there? It's a neat little mechanic that makes the player have to strategically think about how they're going to get past the level. The crazy exploit I found within the game was that I can throw the alchemy at the enemies from far away and I can throw it through the walls to hit the enemies that can't move toward me. That should probably be updated after the jam's ratings have been released. Either way though, this is a great little 2D stealth adventure game!
