  • sadly I didn't get to play too much as it where difficult cause I couldn't fullscreen without it breaking. I had to sit 15cm from the screen to see anything in normal mode. the graphics looks nice from what I can see. there was a student just flying around like a ghost so that seemed broken, but I jot that down to the playability part. the potions where a fun mechanic, but I think I would have enjoyed this all more if the game where more playable.
  • The game lacked direction. I spawned in not knowing what to do. So, I walked around a bit, getting chased by goblins and floating humans. They didn't seem to do any damage to me. So, I had to ham jam a bit to figure out that I should be throwing potions at them. Watching them run from the bees and explode into a bloody mess was pretty fun. That being said, tutorialization is your friend. Help the player understand the world you've created. Regardless, the demo is pretty fun. Great job on creating an expansive world that runs in the browser!

Yes

Tell us about your game!
Your parents sent you away to the School of Alchemy to make something of yourself, but you really aren’t interested.  In fact, you haven’t even taken any classes.  You’ve gotten quite good at avoiding the staff, however.

You wake up from a nap in the storage closet to find that the School of Alchemy has been overrun by the normally docile goblin staff. While their rampage through the school seems to be fueled by an unnatural glow from the moon, a seemingly darker presence now stalks the halls with only glimpses of the true threat in the moonlight. Powerful alchemy is readily available, ingredients lie about in every corner of the school, too bad you never learned a single recipe.

The player must use stealth and alchemy to sneak around the school, collecting ingredients, learning recipes through experimentation and using the resulting potions to solve strange environmental puzzles.

New potions open new areas with new ingredients, ultimately allowing the Player to make their way to a device that would appease the crazed moon, releasing the goblins and saving the day.

Extra Notes
This was a blast - thanks for hosting. We know Unreal and only Unreal very well, but it was an adventure making an HTML5 game with it :X

Looking forward to more Jams in the future
