- I like the gameplay loop, and I think you used the themes nicely. Design Document could use some images of examples, but I think in time you could make this a very fun and nice looking game. keep up the good work!

The game is an action roguelike with deckbuilding mechanics. The main character is stuck in a nightmare and must find a way to wake up.
Collect cards for weapons, spells, and monsters to summon. You can also fuse some cards to create new ones.
KEYBOARD CONTROLS:
WASD: move
ENTER: interact, confirm selection
SPACE: attack
Q/E: select card
SHIFT: use cards
ALT: display card info
BACKSPACE: cancel selection
ESC: pause
GAMEPAD (XBOX) CONTROLS:
Control stick/D-pad: move

Nicely done! I had to think fast to pick the right card. The "hold still to reshuffle" made me chuckle. The player needs a little shuffling animation! haha Fun game!

Great job! I appreciate how the mechanics were introduced piecemeal, so players could get a handle on them. I thought the combat worked well, and that without utilizing your cards you were very unlikely to succeed. Summoning NPCs and transmuting cards were a lot of fun too.
