- This game offers a unique experience, although the rules are difficult to understand at first. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit well into the theme of this game jam. The cleverness of the game might be too complex for the typical player, which could be a barrier to enjoyment. However, the artistic style is great; I really appreciate the direction they were going for.

Mimir's Gold - A game from stories old
The objective of the game is to rotate or flip the objects to their corresponding value. In Mimir’s Gold, you must rotate the compasses (coins) to face north (startpoint is one wind direction left from the north).
You control the game by clicking once on a compass to “rotate” it one step further, or by double-tapping it to flip the coin.
When you click once to rotate it, you gain the following benefits:
if your rotated compass has the same value as other players' compasses, those players must turn their compasses with the same value to the south. If you reach the highest value (north) with one of your compasses, you gain an extra turn, which is repeatable.
The game is suitable for all ages and has an educational purpose, promoting abstract thinking. It is flexible and customizable.
Extra Notes
The game is made for fun and with lots of love. I really hope people enjoy this interpretation of the first game I've ever made. I believe it is simple yet as challenging as a good game of chess in a cat café.
Thematically, it fits the jam's requirements perfectly. Shadows are a part of a pirate's life, and the color scheme is intended to create a reclusive atmosphere. Alchemy is present in the form of the mysterious coins and their workings.

Rotating the coins is not very intuitive. I'm also not sure how 'Shadows and Alchemy' plays into this.
