  • I enjoy that you chose to make a puzzle game. I would have like to see the alchemy a bit clearer, but good job otherwise so far :)

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
This is a puzzle game where you play as a character who failed an alchemical experiment and ended up with his shadow separated from himself. each area the shadow has a mechanic in how it reacts to your behavior. you have to figure it out to progress.
movement: WASD / arrow keys
interact: Space, Enter
Switch characters (3rd area): Z, Shift (or interact)

Extra Notes
The majority of the story component was unfortunately cut for time in favor of the gameplay, so this is more of an example of the mechanic ideas than telling the story we wrote for it.

also if you end up softlocked in a puzzle you can easily reset puzzles by exiting the room and re-entering, or by quiting to the main menu and selecting "Continue"

Great job!! This is such a charming puzzle game, im really amazed by the amount of levels and content you were able to implement! The background music and sounds were really good as well. My favorite puzzles were the ones involving the light rays, the lever ones were trial and error for my one braincell haha.
Also, great job for whoever did the art, it looks really nice and charming, the scenery when you reach the last zone of the game and right before the ending as well its so beautiful!!
My only feedback would be to polish more the collisions because the statues and the shadow character tend to get stuck!
