I found the controls very smooth. Visual style was good. Background music and sound effects really fit the game. During the gameplay i did not see any clear links to the themes other than it being dark, looking at the GDD would love to see how you would implement crafting . Awesome job on the game, game stopped at 75 monsters slayed i would like a boss fight. Hope to see you next Jam.
Pretty neat, loved the shot gun effect, it was really nice to play with. Wish there was some combo or break period to upgrade and craft but the chaotic of it all was nice too. Hope to see it further developed!

Overworked guy goes insane but unlocks his wizard power at the same time so he travels to a dark dimension to fight monsters and drink their magical coffees to get stronger. - Also he's using a shotgun as a magic wand replacement so all the upgrades are stacked onto his gun.
