  • This is a really clean game. Graphics are well done, sounds are great, interesting mechanics and functionality. Theme falls short for this game jam. Also could use an overarching theme/goal to help motivate the player.
  • Playability: The game did not run in firefox, and I had to switch to edge to actually play the game. Not docking you any points for this, just letting you know! I will say, the controls are very clunky and having everything explained in a video is a bit unorthodox for the most part. Theme: Alchemy is very clear, but wheres the shadows? Not seeing that... Cleverness: Love games like this! Reminds me of powdertoy and would love to see this expanded on. Art Style: Its pretty good! Like the simplistic stuff. Could do with more sound effects and music!
  • There is a lot of potential here and I can see the vision for this being a really fun experience but right now there are a lot of friction points to get there. - scale feels off. Was a struggle to organize items and get everything into view. Really wish I could zoom out -confusing process to understand interactions. Had to really pour through the design doc to understand the intention of items and how they work

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes sir!

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
The player must control the flow of liquids, mix and discover new elements!

Different types of solids can be reduced down to their liquid form and interacting liquids have unique reactions!

Everything is explained in game with a short introduction

Extra Notes
I had to revert to Godot's default physics engine for web
The downloadable file runs on the Rapier physics engine, which is far more performant and stable!

GPU required!

The game seemed to work fine on my browser.  I appreciate the sandbox mode for everyone to try, and would like to see how the progression work when in that format! The YouTube tutorial also helped understanding the mechanics a bit as I did find it a bit confusing at first.

The game kinda reminds me of powder toy which I thought was cool.

This game has potential and I would love to see where it goes, awesome job!

Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)

Developer

Thanks for the report!
I followed instructions and enabled SharedArrayBuffer but the project still has a hard time running on web

This is an amazing concept and the mechanics and gifs in your GDD look fantastic! Unfortunately the game got stuck on the initial loading so I haven't played it yet (I'm on a laptop so maybe I don't' have the requirements to run it)

Great work on this! Thanks for inspiring me to check out physics in Godot - I've just started learning :D

Developer

Thanks for the kind words!
I'm not sure why the project does not load for some people. I'm a newb at html5
