- I would like to see some clear indication for hits as this was not apparrent if I hit the enemies or not.

This submission is a survival game where the main mechanic is the player's ability to use shadows to freeze and damage enemies. At the end of each wave. The player's heath and shadow can be upgraded using potions.
The controls are listed when first opening the game.
The GDD can be found linked in the game description. I hope this is okay. I will link below as well.

I believe this is enabled already. I saw this issue myself and from others when playing via the randomizer tool
Cool shadow mechanic. First time I used it the sound scared me. But upgrading and using it with as many enemies at once is fun.
Thanks for playing! The sound effect was a last-minute addition so I was definitely worried the mixing would be off. I appreciate the feedback!
The shadow mechanic felt really fun and unique, it's simple but I feel ike you can really refine it if you're given enough time. One thing that felt a little frustrating was the hit boxes though. I noticed that sometimes I would get hit when it felt like I maybe shouldn't have, or that my sword attack didn't have a very large range so it was hard to hit the enemy without also getting hit. This was only one time, but I did have a situation where an enemy hit me right after they died. It was probably a weird timing thing from the visuals. Your game was fun, I'm just giving you this feedback so you can improve on your next game. Great job, especially for your first game jam
Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback and am glad you liked the shadow mechanic.
Nice game! I think the shadow attack is a pretty cool mechanic.
Thank you!
