Thank you! I was so happy with the art and sound design that the people on our team were able to create, I wish my gameplay was able to do it justice

Thank you! The animator we have our team is really talented

You're not the first person to have this problem, and I'm unsure as to why but I do appreciate you letting me know. I'll make sure to look into why, and I'm happy you were at least able to enjoy the art

Thank you! Our animator is really talented, as is our sound designer

We have an animator that did the animations, I was lucky enough for him to reach out to me and team up with him

Thank you for the feedback about the bugs, it gives me something to try and figure out to clean up since we do plan on continuing this project. Even though the game play was confusing, I hope you enjoyed the art and the sound design

Thank you so much! We were really lucky to have this artist on our team, he blew my expectations out of the water. I'm glad you liked the game, and are even willing to come back to it in the future. This was the first time I've ever made an enemy with with attack patterns like this, so I learnt a lot in the process. We all plan on working on this project in the future, so I will happily let you know when the 2nd and even 3rd boss is complete! I'll be sure to check out your game as well

Thank you so much! Our artist did a great job with the animations, I was so happy every time he showed us something new

I'm Arcain! I'm from the United States, and I've participated in 3 game jams since the year started, and I hope to end the year with one more! I've done all my game jams solo, but I'm open to being in a team as well if anyone is interested in working with me.

I have all my games posted on my profile, and my most recent one is Foxfire Alchemy, and I'm very proud of the mechanics of that one (getting fire to spread is surprisingly difficult). However, I'm most proud of my second game's story, Mind or Body, but I do wish I spent more time making better mechanics for it.

I think I'm most excited to try and make something for the Mystical Forest, Winter Wonders, or Tales by the Fire themes! They all sound nice, and if it's allowed I might even try an idea that combines multiple themes.

Pirate Software inspired me to start creating games, and I've participated in both of the game jams he held this year. He helped me realize how much fun creating games was, and I really recommend people to check out his content if you haven't heard of him. Despite the name, his content doesn't have anything to do with Pirating Software

Thank you for the feedback! I never thought about integrating the mouse with movement, but I could see that working great for these projects. I'll keep that in mind next time, I bet it'll be fun to figure out

This was a fun game! At first I found the lazer mechanic a little bland, but when you started to ramp up the difficult of them it become a lot more fun. Don't be scared to challenge your players! I loved the little notes too, it's a cool way to tell a story.

I think I found a small bug with a box that has collision towards the end of the 1st level. I looked like I was supposed to move it to a specific spot, however I couldn't move behind it at all. I put an image of the part I'm talking about just in case its a bug you were interested in fixing

Great game overall! It was fun little adventure

Thank you for the feedback! Funny enough, I was actually just about to dedicate some time to making a movement script that I'd be more satisfied with

Thank you! Yeah, that should be a pretty simple fix too. In my testing I always got the mushroom second so I never caught onto that issue, but I've realized a few players didn't do that. I'll have to make sure to test these situations a little more next time when the player has the option to choose what they do first

Thank you! Another player had trouble with the same thing, so in the future I think I'll need to create some assets that make it clearer what you're supposed to be doing there or in similar situations. I appreciate the feedback though!

Thank you so much!

Thats great! I know you can't update the game during the game jam, but after the game jam is done you should try updating the game, I'd love to check it out again after you resolved the issue

This is a fun point and click adventure game! You say your code is a mess, but honestly don't worry about it being a mess, just focus on getting it to work and making sure you understand how it works. Did you make this dialouge system yourself, or was it an addon?

I did notice some bugs when playing. The first time I tried I got stuck in dialouge after clicking on the door with Shadow before I got all the ingredients. I restarted and tried again, but the second time I went to approach the door after getting all the ingredients and there was no dialouge. The third time I played, I got to the dialouge with shadow but I couldn't continue the dialouge after starting it

Honestly good first attempt, while I couldn't really manage to get to the end, it felt like there's a good amount of potential here

The shadow mechanic felt really fun and unique, it's simple but I feel ike you can really refine it if you're given enough time. One thing that felt a little frustrating was the hit boxes though. I noticed that sometimes I would get hit when it felt like I maybe shouldn't have, or that my sword attack didn't have a very large range so it was hard to hit the enemy without also getting hit. This was only one time, but I did have a situation where an enemy hit me right after they died. It was probably a weird timing thing from the visuals. Your game was fun, I'm just giving you this feedback so you can improve on your next game. Great job, especially for your first game jam

Keep at it at man.  One small change I'd recommend is changing the jump to the space bar, since that's what most games do and it feels more natural to palyers to hit the space bar for jumping than to hit w

Thank you! I did try looking for some music but I realized I waited to long and by the end of it I didn't have enough time. I'm gonna make that a higher priority next time for sure since it's important for the ambience. Thank you again!

Thank you! Now that I stopped working on the project for a few days, I realized that I could have definitely made more and larger puzzles with the mechanics I had. Next time though

Saying you wish there was more is one of the best compliments I've ever gotten for one of my games. I really appreciate it

This was a fun puzzle game. You really did a great job with the level design, and the mechanics were simple enough to where I only needed to experiment with them once or twice to figure out how to use them. Though, I can't say I solved some of the levels that quickly lmao

Great job dude, you killed it with these puzzles

This game is so cool. It's hard to believe you made this is two weeks, because it's just so much fun. You and your team really knows what their doing. The one thing I could probably hope for you to improve on is that the jumping feels a little off, it feels like it's really slow when coming down. Other than that though, I loved it. Great job!

I agree, I did get overwhelmed pretty quickly because I wasn't able to fire the little spells fast enough

This is a really good implementation of the theme! I'm not very good at these games so I don't think I lasted very long, but it was fun!

You have, by far, the most thorough game design document I've seen in a game jam. I love how thorough you were with it. The game setting feels fun, I wasn't able to find all the keys but honestly this feels like a fun prototype. There is some parts where I fell through the map when trying to climb up a hill, and I noticed some textures were only visible from certain sides. Don't get me wrong though, I love this sort of style for horror type of games. I did notice though that I couldn't access the crafting/alchemy section, either that or I just couldn't find the section where craft/alchemy was relevant. Also, launching flames with the lighter felt really cool. I loved it, it was fun! Overall, you're doing great!

I love this much! It's really well polished and when I was looking at what the download had, it looks like I can make a full game with pretty much just this tileset. I appreciate that you included the pallet as well, I forget to include one in mine but it makes sense that you would put it there.

I love this set! It looks like it would have potential to be used in a pretty fun puzzle game.
I noticed that in your demos you had some animations for sparks traveling through the wires, and I didn't see those in the download links. Did you forget to include those, or do we have to animate the sparks going through the wires ourselves?

This is a solo jam though, so we can't work in teams

I really appreciate the feedback. Next time I make a game I'll try and shorten bits and pieces of the dialogue where I can

Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback, I might test the game again afterwards to make sure that the speed of the cards isn't to fast

Thank you! I really appreciate this

Thank you so much!

This is honestly a really fun game. It looks good, and the concept for it is unique and interesting. It can however be a little frustrating needing to stop so often, and I do wish my sight didn't disappear the moment I moved. Maybe a fade from light to dark in a second would be a little better. I do really like it over all though, and I would probably like it even more if it wasn't restricted to web browser since I did get some lag spikes here and there

I would not have been able to guess this, I know nothing about trains so I was stuck trying to guess the code until I looked at your comment

The visuals are simple but ok and the gameplay concept seems really fun. I just wish that the triangle shield was a little larger, since I would often be off by only a small amount without enough time to react since the balls move very quickly.  It was a little frustrating, but with a few tweaks I can see it being a really fun game

Sorry, I meant that like I get a wrong answer if I click another option directly after getting a pair right. The sound was just how I noticed that this was happening
