- So I really like the Shop portion of the gameplay! That section feels very polished and thought out, but the exploration part feels kind of like it was an afterthought, and the shadow themes aren't really implemented mechanically so a few points off there. But I can absolutely envision the final version of this game and I quite like it! Well done!
- Really cool entry this one, especially when comes to all of the detail put into the art and sound. The characters look lively enough, their dialogue is peculiar and the potion colors are easy to comprehend when mixing concoctions to satisfy their needs. The theme was approached fairly, though I admit I would love to see shadow a bit more present or represented within the game loop rather than isolated in the concept of the character, issues and enemies, which are mostly not present within lore or teased to the player. The WASD mechanic was slightly troublesome and could use some tweaking, but the simple minigame to pour the potions was quite satisfying. The harvesting part definitely needed some polishing as I found myself a little lost for being thrown directly at it. The dodge rolling and puzzle pieces are pretty cool additions though! Awesome submission. Quite a fun p
- GDD Nice pace of the document. Nice description of the game mechanics. Best of luck in post jam Game I found a bug where game crash when I am in the options. Game softlocks when I am in the ingredients menu The game feels like two different kind of games. There are no harmony for art between alchemy shop and dungeon parts. The brewing minigame seems interesting. I softlocked in parkour part in dungeon. So far I enjoyed it.

Great game. I loved making the potions. Would love to see more!
Amazing art style and really well executed. Took me a minute to realize the recipe book was there on the left but once I did we were COOKIN!
Thanks so much!
Hey! Thanks for the feedback!
We actually have too much content we didn't have enough time to implement for the conclusion of the Jam. We're entertaining the idea of fully fleshing out the game if we get enough feedback about it. We streamed development for 2-3 hours a day during the jam and we expect to keep streaming to collect feedback and at least finish the original goal for the prototype we didn't have enough time for. Check us out here if you wanna follow it: https://www.twitch.tv/ssbfgames/
Our end-game goal is a storyline that progresses in a chapter-like fashion where the 3-phase game-loop of crafting potions to help people on different worlds in each chapter -> leads to adventuring in "the weird" to get proper ingredients -> leads to meta-gaming in the cosmic shop to enhance your capabilities at either adventuring or crafting -> would reveal a greater cosmic story from multiple perspectives that the player is working with. The player spends time on each world and unlocks different endings & side stories depending on how the people are addressed.
Cheers!
