  • GDD Nice pace of the document. Nice description of the game mechanics. Good to included dev timeline. Best of luck in post jam Game Game seems fun. I like turnbased games, but I dont feel much from the theme of alchemy and shadows?
  • So this game's final vision looks interesting, but its just not visible in this demo. A lot of the mechanics are bare-bones and the UI is too sparse, also the shadow implementation of the theme is just set-dressing and not mechanical, and the alchemy is not implemented in this version. Again, your vision is good! But unfortunately the execution here is not quite up to snuff for this jam. In the future I would recommend a smaller scope for a demo so you can finish all the features you want to have at the end

Tell us about your game!
Its one level of a grid turn based strategy game. Control your Shadow Druid with the mouse by clicking the action buttons in your Book of the Dead.

Extra Notes
Most of the shadow and alchemy theming was planned for the meta progression which was, of course, cut for time. But hey! We finished a level!

Enjoy!

Great game! The combat is really fun, and I would have played more levels. Adding some lore related to your world would be awesome. "Vyrendor" sounds like a cool place, and I'd love to know more about it. One suggestion I have is to add a highlight to your selected action so they're easier to find. Cheers!
